An Unexpected Surprise | Eclipsed Moon

William and I do not exchange gifts very regularly. In fact we hardly ever exchange gifts at all (because we are always trying to save up some extra cash for other ventures) but He managed to surprise me with something very special this past week. (Which was doubly awesome because I thought he was completely strapped for cash this past month!)

So how stoked was I when he came home and gave me a copy of Harvest Moon: Tree of Tranquility? I was freaking THRILLED!I have been a fan of the Harvest Moon series since FOREVER! I love (and own) every single game. It is one of the few series that I actually get super excited about when a new game is released (Other than Dragon Age anyway…) and I always go to Gamestop to pre-order it because I also collect the animal plushies that come with each new release of the game.

So I showered William with kisses and popped the game into my Wii on friday and I have to admit I have barely left the thing alone except to do annoying things such as eat and sleep. I’ve already gotten two of the rainbow recipes unlocked! And you get to change your character’s clothes and EVERYTHING! I LOVES IT! =DDDD

I would totally make a longer post but it is just going to be eating into my play time. So I promise to come up with something long winded and informative later on!

I know right! I absolutely adores it! I love all the cooking you can do and all the fish you can catch! I always try to complete every available checklist and the mining games are absolutely addictive! :achoo:

Oh, I also wanted to ask two questions: 1) My fb is acting weird and glitchy. I don’t know what is wrong with it. Do you have ideas? 2) I am thinking of switching my blogspot account over to wordpress. Any suggestions?

Facebook was glitching out with me earlier today within a few of the programs, but it seemed to fix itself later on in the afternoon. Your internet might also have been wonking up. Send me a IM if the problem persists and I’ll help you troubleshoot the problem from there.

As far as switching from Blogspot to WordPress I’m not sure what to tell you. I played around with Blogspot awhile back but I don’t remember much about it. I adore WordPress, but if you move your blog over you will probably have to manually input all of your old blog entries because I doubt they help you transfer all the old content from a free Blogspot account.

WordPress (as far as I know) allows you more customization and has a greater range of plugins to take advantage of. You can make a free blog on the WordPress site to play with it a bit and see if you like it. (They also have a forum with help for coding and stuffs just for free members)

There is a post telling me how to switch it over (as long as it is below 500 entries)but I am thinking of playing with it and all. If I like wordpress better I will switch over definably. It just costs money to get rid of the .worpress right? Or are there other fees? Thank you soo much! :peaceandlove:

If you want to host your own blog with your own domain name it would probably be cheaper to just buy a domain (They can be as low as $5/year to $15/year) and getting hosting somewhere else.

I pay for my own hosting (because it makes me feel elitist and awesome) but there are some free hosting plans for personal sites that I can link you to if you are interested. Bubble.nu is a good host but you need to apply to them first. :totoro:

What a great gift!! That is so sweet!! I love surprises. My boyfriend surprised me with five miniature ceramic teapot to put on my bookshelf. Each made by hand by underprivileged people in a third world country. I hope you have a great time playing!! :staticheart:

I love the teapots! It reminds me of one of my old friends from highschool named Jenny, she collected teapots so that became her nickname. Everytime I see teapots now I think of her. And they came from a good cause also! :lawl: I loves it!

Ahh Harvest Moon. Possibly the best game in the world :P I think I have played almost every HM ever made, yet I have not finished a single one of them. I’m currently working on ANIMAL PARADE and uh… SUNSHINE ISLANDS. I kinda gave up on both :P

I absolutely ADORED Sunshine Islands. There was SO MUCH to do on that game! 100+ recipes to unlock and islands to revive. It was AWESOME =DDD

I know exactly how you feel! I just finished up my finals yesterday. Whew! I made top marks on all of them and now I only have one class left to finish up this degree. I’m so excited I could scream!

That was so sweet. What a great gift and it looks fun and cute. My son and his family has a Wi and I’m always sore from playing it when I leave to come back home. He insists we play when we visit ha. My grandson is just as bad as he is too.

The Wii can certainly be an awesome tool for playing around and getting some exercise. Have you tried Zoomba? (Spelling? ) My friend Nina had me play that and we were in stitches (both physically and emotionally) from laughing at one another dancing around the living room and falling over furniture.
