Azumanga Daioh follows the daily routines of seven girls through their high school years at an un-named Japanese high school, covering culture festivals, vacations, after school activities, clubs, and classes, it is a light hearted and hilarious comedy.

There is no overarching storyline, with the exception of all of the girls attending the same school and eventually studying for their university examinations together.
