Read more »Azumanga Daioh follows the daily routines of seven girls through their high school years at an un-named Japanese high school, covering culture festivals, vacations, after school activities, clubs, and classes, it is a light hearted and hilarious comedy.
There is no overarching storyline, with the exception of all of the girls attending the same school and eventually studying for their university examinations together. If there is a plot to be spoken of, it falls to the individual characters and their current antics and inter-personal relationships with one another.
