Pixel Art
Pixel art is a specific niche within the artistic community. Only a few years ago the web was literally teeming with pixel art shrines and collections of beautiful dolls and objects that artists had created in programs such as Microsoft Paint. Painfully constructing their images pixel by gentle pixel until they formed a beautiful work of art. Many of these sites have closed down, but there are still several communities and artists who still post their galleries online for others to view. This is where you can find mine.
Writing
A collection of written work. I write a lot in my spare time, and over the years I have written a several short stories that were set in universes of my own design, and even borrowed characters and settings from other worlds that were previously created by others. But my stories come and go with my mood, and several stories lie abandoned in the dust, forgotten until my interest is sparked with them again and I add onto them as if I were weaving a tangled web.
Photography
While I have never claimed to be a great photographer, I do enjoy snapping the occasional photograph to document occurrences or passing moments and memories throughout my life. Some are pictures of things I find beautiful, while others are snapshots of friends clustered around and laughing at a get-together. Either way to me they are special, and I wanted to showcase them in their own little corner of my website where I can share them with friends and family.
Drawings
I enjoy ‘mucking about with colors’ occasionally, and sketching ideas or scenery that pop into my head. I am by no means an artist, but I enjoy uploading my creations for others to giggle at or share the wilder corners of my imagination with others. Some things I draw I see during daydreams, others come to me in nightmares. Many are meant to amuse or be cartoonish, and very few have been commissioned by others. But it is always fun, and always an adventure, to create something new with a pencil.
